  <dc:description>This series comprises material collected by Sr Mary Aquinas O'Connor DP that relate to Roberts, which she donated to the Society after his death. It contains a letter to Roberts from Valerian Gracias dated 1949 with a copy of convocatory letter attached and a copy of a letter written by Roberts to an unnamed Cardinal in 1949. Also included are press cuttings particularly in relation to January 1965 Foyles Literary Luncheon controversy. 

There is also a covering letter to this collection by Sr Mary Aquinas O'Connor DP and a letter acknowledging the donation from Fr James Crampsey SJ.</dc:description>
