  <dc:title>Marriage Impediment certificate</dc:title>
<dc:description>Macklin witnessed these two certificates for Captain Stephen Conway and Hilary Audrey Russell stating that neither had an impediment to their marriage. Hilary Russell belonged to the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service (QAIMNS) and Captain Stephen Conway to the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) and presumably these were certificates that Macklin produced during his time as army chaplain during the Second World War.</dc:description>
