  <dc:description>This 19th century photograph shows a young priest, Rev Donald Easson, seated with his legs crossed on a chair next to a lace-curtained window, with his right arm around a huge dog seated next to him; Rev Easson was born at Tomintoul on 18th March 1864 and was ordained priest at Valladolid on 20th March 1887; on his return to Scotland, he was appointed Curate at St Mary's, Edinburgh and after 2 years he was appointed to the charge of Linlithgow, where he remained for 9 years; in April 1897, Rev Easson accepted the post of Vice-Rector of Scots College, Valladolid; he left Scotland in November 1898 and died at Valladolid on 7th March 1899 aged only 34.</dc:description>
