Corporate DS/UK/474 Craighead Spirituality Centre; c1916 - c1998 Craighead Spirituality Centre c1916 - c1998 First known as Craighead Retreat House, or St. Kentigern's Retreat House, before becoming known as Craighead Spirituality Centre. When, in 1999, the Centre moved from Bothwell to Glasgow, its name changed to the Ignatian Spirituality Centre. Site purchased by the then English Province of the Society of Jesus in c. 1916 for a retreat house in place of that in Rochsoles. In 1999, the Centre moved from Bothwell to Woodside Place, Glasgow.

Initially offering retreats for Catholic men, the activity of the Centre expanded to include men and women, ordained and lay. From the late 1960s, individually guided retreats and weeks of guided prayer in parishes were offered, along - later - with a wide range of training courses. Furthermore, ministry became increasingly collaborative.
