Primarily hand-written letters addressed to Fr Edward Rockcliff SJ (Director of Loyola Hall 1933-1940) regarding the death of Fr Charles Dawson SJ, who died as a result of injuries sustained when hit by a car. Includes a typescript account of Fr Dawson's accident and ultimate death.
Also includes a letter from the Catholic College at Preston, Lancashire, regarding a retreat for former students.
