DescriptionA requiem was held for O'Connor after his death in 1915 (and an anniversary mass in 1965) at Farm St, of which he was a parishioner, and an imitation of the Victoria Cross he received for bravery at the battle of Alma in the Crimean War (he was the first soldier to receive the VC) was on display in the church. Includes correspondence from members of O'Connor's family to Fr Martin D'Arcy SJ and Fr Joseph Barrett SJ, correspondence with Lt Col J G Vyvyan of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, a photograph of the display at the Regimental Museum containing the VC, and copies of articles, 'Journal for Catholics and Armed Forces in the Service of The Queen' Spring 1965
